About Trinity Bible School
The Birth of Trinity Bible School
Several years ago, I was working in a prison for youthful offenders as an Academic Instructor in the faith-based housing unit. One day, a young Mexican student was added to my roster. The other young men in my class prepared the way for him by telling me that he was a very devoted Christian. As I began to dialogue with him, I learned that he had a calling to ministry on his life.
He did not know much about me, but he apparently knew enough to know that I could help him, so he asked me to instruct him in ministry as well as academics. I was more than willing to help. I started giving him assignments that he would complete and turn in to me, and he was very faithful to complete each assignment with care.
During the course of my work at the prison, I met another inmate that expressed similar aspirations. As I began to work with him in the same way, it occurred to me that neither of these young men had completed high school. To be quite honest, neither of them was likely to ever do so. I am not discounting miracles and the effectiveness of hard work, but when a twenty-year-old tests on an elementary school level, high school completion seems to them completely unattainable. I soon came to the conclusion that without high school, these young men were never going to be able to attend a traditional Bible college. I thought to myself, I wish there was some way that young men like these could receive ministerial training without having to have a high school diploma.
Well, it has taken several years, but I believe that the Lord has put it on my heart to provide such training. After all, why should a Spanish speaking Mexican be required to master the English language and become versed in English literature before receiving training to work in the ministry? God's Word says otherwise:
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty (1 Corinthians 1:26-27).
Finally, with the help of the Lord, Trinity Bible School was born.

Walking in His Calling
"If you ask me to give a speech on any other subject, I become very nervous, but put a Bible in my hand and all of that nervousness disappears."
Mr. Prewitt sensed the Lord's calling on his life at an early age. He originally pursued a career in music playing the trumpet, however, after receiving numerous scholarships, awards, touring across the United States and England, performing for President George Bush, playing as a featured soloist with bands and symphony orchestra, and many other musical accomplishments, Mr. Prewitt had no satisfaction. It was at this point, that his dad suggested that he enroll in Bible college for one semester. That one semester turned into years of Bible College which changed Mr. Prewitt's life and helped him to discover his true calling.
Since that time, Mr. Prewitt has been actively involved in ministry: preaching, teaching, door-to-door witnessing, counseling, outdoor crusades, and doing whatever else he can to see the Lord's work advance. In addition, Mr. Prewitt has authored many evangelistic tracts and written several books among which are: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: A Pentecostal Perspective, What if Calvin Was Wrong?, and Help! I am a Teacher! Mr. Prewitt holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, principleship certification in the State of Florida, a Master of Arts in Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music. He has served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor.
Mr. Prewitt is married to Rebekah Prewitt a Christian counselor and author. To learn more about the ministry of the Prewitts, you may visit their websites linked below.
